Ghost Town Mysteries: Bodie is a hidden-object game with an eerie theme in which you need to investigate the appearance of ghosts in town. Throughout the scene, you will visit many locations looking for clues that help you solve the town mysteries. There, you will also have to search for certain objects on a list that will be placed to your inventory for future use. If you have trouble finding an object, you can use one of the hints that are represented by spiders. You start with only two hints, but you can collect more as you play. What is more, if you click several times randomly without finding any object, you will be penalized with a black and white screen and you won't be able to move the cursor for a few seconds.
Unfortunately, the game only includes one mode, and offers a bunch of mini-games that make the game more attractive and enjoyable. The story is also catchy enough to keep you playing for a while.
Regarding the graphics, they are pretty good as well as sound effects. The music is scary and very suitable for the game.
In short, Ghost Town Mysteries: Bodie is an interesting hidden-object game which certainly doesn't have anything new or impressive, but has an intriguing story and scary theme that will surely attract many fans of this genre. |
